How do I customize app with my personal info?

Tap the menu icon at the top left of the screen (looks like 3 horizontal lines. Tap on Settings.  Replace the “email signature” with your own info.  You can put your personal Youngevity site in there instead of the general Youngevity site (i.e. www.jennbonner.my90forlife.com)

Is the app available for iPad?

Yes it is. The app is listed under iPhone but not under iPad apps in the app store and people might assume it can’t be used on iPad, but you can. You can download the iphone app to your ipad and it will work fine. For us to list the app under iPad, it has to be “optimized” for iPad with greater graphics. Well, we’re not using pictures in the app so the only time you notice is if our opening picture of the lavender field is full size it’s not as sharp.

Is the app available for Android?

No. At this time, there are no plans for an Android version.

What information is available for Essential Oils?

The information from the Foundational Aromatherapy 2nd Edition book for each single oil and blend is included. This includes a description, safety notes, tried and true uses, how do I use it, oils it blends well with, properties, key emotions, key body systems and technical data (blends also include their ingredient oils). This data is accessible through the oil for each oil or through More for data back to the oil.

Where do I find the ERN Guide and how do I use it?

Tap the menu icon at the top left of the screen (looks like 3 horizontal lines).

Tap on ERN Guide. On the ERN Assessments screen you will have the option of starting a new Assessment by tapping the + in the upper right corner.

If you are assessing someone who is in your phone’s contacts, you may tap the “file folder” icon at the top. You will go to your contacts and be able to choose one. If the person is not in your contacts, you will just enter their info there. You may choose to save them to your phones contacts (you may have to give the app permission in your settings to do this going forward – on your phone, go to Settings -> Privacy -> Contacts

You will see the oils for the ERN assessment listed so you may gather them (if you don’t already know or don’t have the kit).

To start, you must tap on Starting Point and go through the assessment scorecard to get a baseline. Don’t worry about the numbers – they are meant to help you by matching a clock’s numbers for matching the person’s movement. The app will do the calculations for you. Once you complete the movements, tap Save at the top right corner.

Once you have the baseline of discomfort and movements, begin assessment according to the ERN method. Have the person sniff the cap of the first oil and then apply (or let them apply) on drop on the big toe and down the arch of each foot.

After applying oil, tap > next to the oil on the list and complete the scorecard.

Have the person walk around and drink some water.

Repeat with each oil on the list.

Once complete tap Done and you will return to the ERN Assessments page and the assessment you just completed will be in the list.

Tap the > next to the assessment you want to view. You will see the results of the assessment. The Home Action Plan will list the oils in the order of benefit to the person. If you email it to them (tap the paper and pen icon on the top right corner of screen), they will get the list and instructions emailed to them. You will be able to edit the email before sending.

In the assessment results, the gray number is the start number for each scorecard from the previous. The yellow number is how person felt after that oil was applied. The green or red on the line show improvement (or lack of).

Where do I find the Dilution Calculator?

Tap the menu icon at the top left of the screen (looks like 3 horizontal lines).

Tap on Dilution Calculator. Tap on a Desired Dilution and you will see the typical conditions for that dilution. Once you decide your desired dilution, choose your carrier amount. The calculator will show you the total drops of oil to use. If you are using multiple oils, the ratios are calculated for you too. This is all explained in the Foundation Aromatherapy book. This calculator is a tool based on that information.

What is the difference between a Suggested Use and a Recipe?

They are similar. However, while the Suggested Uses for concerns in the app contain a lot of great information, they are more general. Recipes are more specific and include many that are not necessarily for a concern, but for comfort, enjoyment and also food!
